My Work with Master Craftsman StudioAs the Production Manager at the Florida State University Master Craftsman Studio, I work alongside other talented studio artists. Together, we create signs, benches, stained glass, awards, fountains, and bronze statuary for the university. We also fabricate public works from metal, concrete, and glass, craft custom pieces for private clients, and refurbish sculptures, furniture, and glass.
We utilize advanced machining techniques, including 3D printing, water-jet cutting, and CNC routers/mills, to produce state-of-the-art custom works. Below are examples of projects dating back to 2008, when I began working with the studio. These works have shaped my understanding of what is possible through research and proper technique. I am fortunate to have a day job that challenges me to practice and
hone my passion. My daily mantra is to fabricate more intricate and polished work using a vast array of materials and processes. |
